I’ve spent a year in an English speaking country

I’ve spent a year in an English speaking country since I arrived in Australia to study English. Now I have lived in New Zealand for working for 9 months.

When I arrived at Melbourne airport I could say almost nothing in English then I had started to go to language school studying hard English for three months. Then I became to say something in English.

I had improved my english skills brilliantly in three months. Here is my experiences in Melbourne.

Even though I couldn’t speak English correctly, I was able to understand and talk with local people in a bar. At that moment, I thought I would speak English fluently after a year.

And now I spent a year in an English speaking country though I still can’t speak what I think in English.

Why I cannot get fluent.

I’m wondering why still I’m not able to speak English fluently then some reasons became into my brain. The reason number one I don’t talk with people in English because I work for a Japanese company.

It’s Okay, I have to work for live and I wanna learn kind of business that I’m in. I won’t leave my job and there are some colleagues who speak English. So I can talk with my colleagues but not much. I would like to speak more.

that’s the only way to become speaking fluently. So I decided I will go out for social and make some friends who speak English. Any way whether I will be able to become speaking fluently or not, I want to expand my social for my future business that is one of the reasons I have learnt English for a few years. And I will continue studying English until I feel that I can’t have done more than I have done. In addition, I like living here and I wanna get resident visa so one of my aims is to get IELTS 6.5 for the visa.
